Director
Leigh Hunter (she/her)
Leigh is the Co-Founder and Director of Employment Events Community and is all about people. She loves building relationships, making new connections and finding ways to bring the right people together. Friendly, approachable and always up for a chat, Leigh is happiest meeting new people and growing the EEC community.

Cody Thompson (he/him)
Cody is the Co-Founder and Director of Employment Events Community. He loves bringing people together, building new ideas and creating events that genuinely make a difference. You’ll usually find him chatting with exhibitors, meeting attendees or coming up with the next place EEC should visit.

Anna Thompson (she/her)
Anna is the one who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From keeping the team organised to creating our content and managing our socials, she wears plenty of hats! Creative, organised and always across what’s happening, Anna helps bring EEC to life both at our events and online.

Corey McCaw (he/him)
Corey is all about getting the right people in the room. He works closely with employers, organisations and local communities to make sure our expos have a great mix of stallholders and plenty of job seekers coming through the doors. For Corey, it’s all about making connections that count.

Micharla Russell (she/her)
Our resident Kiwi who calls Queensland home, Micharla is all about community and connection. On expo day, you’ll rarely find her standing still — she’s usually running around, chatting with stallholders, welcoming attendees and making sure everyone is having a great day.

Yasmin Bourne (she/her)
Originally from the UK and now based in NSW, Yasmin brings plenty of energy and confidence to the EEC team. She loves meeting new people, getting involved in the community and isn’t afraid to strike up a conversation with anyone. You’ll definitely know when Yasmin is in the room!
